New Tropical Storm “Jose” Forms Potentially Impacting the Caribbean

Update: Jose is now is a category 3 hurricane.  The Bay Islands are not in the path.

Tropical Storm “Jose” has formed potentially impacting the Caribbean just behind the category 5 hurricane “Irma”. Jose’s current track puts it in a similar path to “Irma” -however it’s too early to forecast its impact to Utila. It’s track at this time is uncertain as it’s in it’s early forming stages and could turn into a Hurricane in the upcoming days. We are monitoring “Jose” and will keep you updated via our Facebook page and website.
